One of the most beautiful trekking routes of the region, Chandernahan Peak Trek is the trekker’s paradise, has everything right from the deep virgin forests to gurgling streams, breathtaking mountain sides, miles of undulating meadows and amazing waterfalls which leave travelers spellbind.

The trek to Chandernahan lake at 4200 meters is an adventurous trek in the Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh. The best time for this trek is in the month of Mid-April to Mid-October. Rohru is the nearest town from the base camp and the total length of the trek is 20kms one way.

Itinerary:

– Day 1: Shimla to Janglikh (2500 mtrs)
– Day 2: Janglikh to Dayara Thatch
– Day 3: Dayara Thatch to Lithan Thatch
– Day 4: Chandernahan waterfall to Seven Glacial Ponds
– Day 5: Litham to Dayara Thatch
– Dayara Thatch to Janglik Village

Inclusions:

– Accommodation (Hotel/Camp)
– Three Times meals (Veg)
– Bonfire (Open Bonfire if there is no rain)
– First Aid Kits
– Trained & Experienced Instructor

Exclusion:

Any travel and transportation, expenses of personal nature and any other expenses which have not been specified above.

What to Carry:

– One pair of track t-shirt and full trouser.
– One or two pair of thermal wear.
– One woolen / wind-proof jacket.
– One woolen cap / head wrap, one pair extra socks and inner wear.
– Tracking shoes.
– Sunglasses, water bottle.
– Head lamp or torch.
– Sunscreen lotion, lip balm, person medical kit.
– All the above items should be packed in a rucksack.

Activities:
Major Activities: Multi days trekking/hiking.
Minor Activities: Ice breaking games.
Morning & evening fun: Bonfire (on last evening), singing and music fun during bonfire gathering.

Important Information:
– All activities are subject to favorable weather conditions or else there is a risk of injury. Final call will be taken by our outdoor leaders on the day of the program itself and we request you to respect that.
– 1 Teacher will be complimentary with every group of 20 students.
– 1 Agency/company staff will be complimentary with one group.
– Extra teachers / agency staff will be charged as the policy / per person per night.
